The Challenge

OMX was tasked with approximately 370 internal moves at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Building for the U.S. Department of Education. The moves consisted of relocating 10 different departments and required a variety of packing services to move copious file cabinets and employees who were unable to pack for themselves.

The Solution 

OMX developed a plan to complete the move in six phases and provided project management, pre-move planning, packing materials and packing services to satisfy the relocation requirements and ensure an efficient move.

Results

ll moves were completed on time and as planned, including the packing and relocation of employee contents, boxes, file cabinets and supply areas. We were able to move, disassemble and reassemble office equipment and provided reporting to the DOE at each phase.
